Mini-Session info

The next mini-session will be February 5th- Tu Tu Cute! It is for girls to play dress up. Bring your own funky threads or use my pettiskirts and accessories! The damask backdrop is what will be used. The sessions are only 20 minutes and come with 5-8 pictures on cd plus black and whites for $85.

Spring mini-session is March 26th- location still to be announced but I plan for it to be at an Antebellum house in Summit (different from last year). These sessions go fast and I have already booked a few spots. These are 30 minutes sessions 10-12 images on cd plus black and whites for $100.

Let's get 2011 started!!

WoW 2010 was a great year for my business!! Thank you all so much for your support! I am so looking forward to watching "my" babies grow this year. Also I will begin doing one wedding a month so I am excited to share in the memories of these happy couples! AND I can't forget my sassy seniors that always take me on an adventure! Man my job is AWESOME!

The studio has been working out FABULOUS! I just love having a space that offers warmth from cold and air from HOT MS heat! And the lighting is JUST RIGHT! Not to mention the building is so super cool- I LOVE old buildings!

Which leads me to my FIRST studio mini-session!

February 5th will be a TU-TU cute mini-session for all of the little princesses out there!
20 minute session - 5-10 pictures on cd- $85.

I will provide tutus and pettiskirts or you can bring your own! I will post a picture soon of what the background will look like.

Sweet one year old sesion

I love getting to meet new people and their sweet children! Unfortunately I was unable to squeeze in this session before the daddy had to leave for work! Since mom is not on Facebook which is where I usually post my sneak peeks I wanted to show them a few samples so Dad could see too while he is away at work. Don't you know how hard it is to be gone from your families to work!

Fall Dates and a Mini Session

Okay so if you are interested in Fall portraits here is the dealio!

I had hinted to having a sunflower mini-session, however, due to nature (and deer) I am hesitant to plan a BIG session based on the fact that the flowers may not bloom! And then you would be VERY angry with me!!!

So instead, my ONE fall mini-session will be October 23rd in Summit at a beautiful homeplace with a big field, tin, wood barn, iron gate etc. This is a different location from last year and will provide a different look to the pictures even though there is a barn. I will have super fun props for kids and such for family. 30 min session -$100- 10 to 12 images on disk!

In the event that the sunflowers do bloom in late Sep I would love to have your regular session at this location it will just be regular price not mini-session!

As you may have heard I will be moving into 811 Robb Street in Summit on September 30th! I am excited about the possibilites. I have been racking up on new blankets and props! These portraits will be unlike anything in this area. No stuffy backdrops here!

I have limited remaining dates open for September and October. All sessions will be regular price of $175 for the cd of images. I have one Saturday in October that I will be shooting regular sessions but the remainder will be during the week. I cut off Holiday portraits the week of Thanksgiving. I do not shoot in December except for maternity and newborns or baby plans. Please do not procrastinate your family holiday portraits!

There will be a slight price increase in January so book now to receive the discounted prices!

Sweet Tikes in the summer

Guess what Yall?! It is HOT outside! Every summer we complain about the dreadful heat here in the South but we all have wonderful memories of fireflys, playing in the creek, fireworks, cold ice cream, and barbeques.

Sweet boy becoming a child

I can relate to the bittersweet transition of watching your baby turn into a "big kid." While at age almost three they are still babies in so many ways, but they also are reaching those imperative milestones that show they are ready to be more independent.

Recently I had a session with sweet Mr. H at his own personal beach! They have a beautiful creek that runs through the property and we endured the humidity to capture some true "boy" moments before this little guy turns three and meets a new baby in the family.

I personally love the ones with his teddy as he didn't want to let it go showing he too was still a little guy himself! :)

I heart faces Seniors

I have not participated in an I heart faces challenge in a while! Sorry guys! Life is rushing by me! But since I am in the midst of photographing all of my beautiful Seniors I wanted to share this picture with you.

This tall drink of water was so fun to photograph and he is a great football player at his school. I noticed most of the pictures were of females in this week's challenge so I thought I would throw a guy into the mix!

What a fun time I had with Miss. Brooklyn! Beautiful and full of everything that a high school girl dreams to be. We started in fields, trespassed on a neighbor's yard, and ended up at a barn! I always love Senior sessions so much because we never know what the time will entail!

Brotherly Love

What do you give a mother who is having a second boy? A gift certificate to have her children's picture taken together! It makes perfect sense as she already has clothes and baby essentials! This session was given as a gift at a baby shower and I can't think of anything more perfect.

This family is such a sweet example of family love. Newborn sessions can usually be rather intense, long, and tiring but I was so relaxed and truly enjoyed capturing these moments.

I am so excited at how the images turned out and I hope mom gets her wish of getting a big canvas of the one of them together!

Meet Joseph

Ladies, please meet my North Pike senior spokes model Joseph. We had a great time capturing some portraits that really identified his personality. I also learned some new football lingo along the way ;). Now for the first time ever I had to switch lenses because this tall drink of water wouldn't fit into my usual lens! HA! Most of my time was spent finding something to stand on so I could make sure we got all 6ft 5in of him plus he had on boots!

I can tell he would be a really great catch for some young lady! I hope you enjoy your Senior year Joseph and it exceeds all of your expectations! Thanks for being my sole male model!

So I have this cd -what do I do with it?

I decided at the beginning of this year to offer the option to purchase the cd of all of your images for you to print as you wish. Most artists think this is a travisty to give away their hard earned work to be easily distorted and not printed correctly. There is always a bad that will go with the good but I feel that this method will best suit my business practice. And let's face it time is money and I have a family to raise also and placing orders can be extremely tedious.

If you follow my blog I will fill you in on lots of neat ideas and methods to print your portraits yourself. The printer I highly recommend for professional prints and impeccable service is http://www.mpix.com/ . When you purchase a session with cd from me I will provide you with instructions on how to print from them.

So what are some of my favorite ways to print photographs other than your usual 5X7 in a frame?

MOUNTING-

My favorite way to print a photograph is what is called Mounting.

When you choose the size that you want you simply check the add mounting for an extra fee and this will provide you a hard backing to display on an easel, or hang from pretty ribbon, or the ideas are endless....

This is a display I have in our playroom-3 pictures (2 9x12 and 1 10X10). I simply got the EZ hooks in rust color and then got an inexpensive curtain rod to place across it. I got curtain hooks and clipped to the picture. Very modern and unique!~ AND THRIFTY! Total to print about $30 and hanging display about $40.

Apparently someone at HGTV loves this idea too- I found this picture on one of their nursery design pages. Isn't it SUPER CUTE! I have visions of something similar in my little girl's room with butterflies!

Also I LOVE Storyboards!!! LOVE THEM! They are such a fun way to incorporate several images from your session. Once again choose your printing size and then add mounting. You can display on an easel or frame. I can design a storyboard for you starting at $15 and up. To print only costs about $10-$20 mounted depending on size.

This is one I did for one of my besties of her and her daughter. It turned out BEAUTIFUL and I was so jealous I didn't have one of me and my angel!

This is a rather large size- the image doesn't do it justice but I don't have a copy of the printed version. Trust me it was AWESOME!

And here is a 5X7 version I inlcuded with this 1 yr session. So sweet!

STAND OUTS-
There is an option for stand outs which is a neat alternative to a canvas. This is photographic paper placed onto a 1 inch backing that is ready to hang on the wall. Or you can stand it up on its own. There are several examples of these at my display at Lott Furniture in Mccomb.

GALLERY WRAP CANVAS-

There is nothing more beautiful than your child's portrait on canvas- truly a work of art.

I just received one I ordered in the mail from MPIX that is breathtaking. However, this can be a little tricky to order because you have to ensure you do not cut off any imperative parts of the picture. If you wish to have a canvas it is best to order them through me via a different distributor that is also extremely affordable. We make sure that the correct size and dimensions are ordered.

Miss Lola Grace was my first "real" baby plan baby. I have had the pleasure of watching her grow this year every 3 months. This last session I think was our best by far!

Such a cutie! I met mom at story time while taking my own little angel and Mr. T just might be the sweetest child on the planet!!!! He LOVES to hug every child and he always wants to hold my little girl's hand much to her discretion! I try to tell her to keep the sweet boys around!

For Mr.T's recent 2 year old session we headed over to a landmark antebellum home. He was a busy little guy but we caught a few shots! He is definitely ALL BOY- tractors, balls, you name it!

I recently did a maternity shoot for one of the most fun couples on the planet! Seriously I couldn't keep my concentration because daddy was cracking me up too much!

Well Baby Smith is going to be a suprise and I know there are TONS of people just waiting on pins and needles to find out whether it is a BOY or a GIRL! I can't wait to find out and photograph the little angel when it arrives in the next two weeks!

Baby Boy Love

If these pictures don't make you smile I don't know what will! I had the pleasure of photographing this little guy this week. We have been trying for a month to get together but due to illness and nasty weather we ended up having to wait!

He did a great job and was full of grins for me! This is definitely my favorite age to photograph!

I took Miss.P's newborn photos back in October and this weekend I had the pleasure of seeing how much she has changed in 4 1/2 months! Isn't she BEAUTIFUL?!!

Could you just eat those legs up and kiss those cheeks all day?!!!

We had such a fun time playing dress up with her, but mom didn't think she was feeling too well since she is usually full of grins. We will have to try to get some more smiles next time when hopefully no teefies are popping in! Thanks for calling me! I hope to see yall again soon!

Sugar and Spice and everything nice!

After 2 little boys, mom was overjoyed to learn she was going to finally give birth to a little girl! I made the trek to Tupelo so I could capture a few shots of this beautiful baby girl. Mom is a friend of mine from the High School days and you may recall seeing their family photos here from last fall.

She was sleeping soundly when I arrived and when we went to undress her she did not want to go back to sleep. Crazy people disturbing a sleeping baby! While I love a sleeping newborn I do love the connection in this first shot of her discovering her new world! I think she is thinking "What is this woman doing with that contraption pointed in my face!" I can't wait to see how this little girl changes in the next months!

Too Precious

So I seemed to have neglected to put this beautiful newborn on my blog as I only put her on Facebook for her mama to see.

Miss. A was a little old for a newborn session which is best done before 2 weeks, but we still managed to capture some sweet moments.

Funny story- Miss. A's daddy was deployed during momma's pregnancy but was scheduled to arrive by the due date. Miss. A decided to surprise everyone by arriving 3 weeks early....the same day her daddy was planning to surprise mommy and arrive early! He made it just after she was born! Isn't God's plan lovely?! This was I am sure an extra special Christmas for this family.

I have been so delayed in posting these pictures that I am scheduled to take her 3 month pictures next week! So check back for more pictures to see how she has changed...I promise not to wait so long next time!

So since I am now an official member of blog stalkers anonymous I will share my finding with you here on my photo blog. I discovered this blog recently and love all of her cute family ideas. Especially ones that involve photos!

I always usually take a picture of the child's feet when I am doing a photo session. With or without shoes! One time I had a woman peeping over my shoulder and she exclaimed what are you going to do with a picture of their feet.

Last month I did some photography for advertising for the Buttercup Children's Boutique at Edgewood Mall, Mccomb. Their clothing is UNBELIEVABLY PRECIOUS!!!! If you have not stopped in it is a must especially when you get ready to buy your little one's spring wardrobes!

So because I am an AVID fan of supporting local businesses, and because I want to promote my new website/blog, I am giving away a pair of Stephen Joseph rain boots as seen below on my little cutie-patootie! I thought what better accessory for my clients than some SUPER CUTE rain boots especially with the NASTY weather Mother Nature has been sending our way in the Deep South. I heart faces- We are Family!

When I saw the theme this week I instantly knew what picture I wanted to enter.

I took this picture in October of one of my good High School friends and her family. Now you know mom has her hands full....(at the time of photo) a 3 yr old, 15 month old, and baby sis on the way! This family is a wonderful example of what family is all about! Mom and Dad are beautiful Christian examples and work as a team. In fact if you go visit Candise's blog you will see what I am talking about. She also is one of the craftiest people I know so you will probably find something to interest your creative side in addition to listening to her rambles of motherhood! I am sure many I heart faces mom's can relate! She is now a few weeks from delivering baby sis and I get to visit to take the newborn photos! I can't wait!

This photo shoot like all shoots that involve toddlers was quite active! I captured this shot and I love it! One of my favorite photographic tools is to fade the parents out of the background almost as if they are guardian angels of their babies.

I have missed the last few challenges but I HAD to submit a photo for the I Heart Faces birthday celebration week! I found this website about six months ago and I have been addicted ever since. It provides so much inspiration, encouragement, and education to so many aspiring photographers. Go check it out!

Here is my submission this week for Best Face Photo. The photo had to be taken in Dec/Jan and I got in just under the timeline with Dec 1st being the day this shot was made. This family is one of my regular customers and this little boy is so SUPER ADORABLE! I just love his mischievous 2 yr old smile in this shot! Don't you?

I just began using textures in my photography and I am addicted. Thanks to Shadowhouse Creations for the usage of his amazing textures!

In this digital age so many people just take the pics upload them to Facebook or blog etc and never print them. This is so sad because while technology is great pictures can get lost when not printed. I know I still love to get out my family photo albums to reminisce about past family vacations or holidays!

Welcome to my new blog and website!

Oh I am so in love with my new logo thanks to Heather with Coffeeshop Designs! She and her sister Rita our my new BFFs! I really feel this logo is more my style! With a new image I had to get a new look on the blog and a new website to start my NEW YEAR off right!! Please go visit my new website.

After my first year in business in Mccomb I am excited to see what this year will hold for me! I am plesantly pleased with how my year ended in 2009! Thank you to everyone who allowed me to photograph their family memories. I have lots of ideas planned for this year!

I learned alot about myself this year and what I want my business philosophy to entail in the future. You can read my changes for 2010 here! All sessions will be given a cd of all images with each session.

Laptop

I have been wishing for a laptop for quite a while. It is not a necessity because my faithful Acer desktop still gets the job done. However, I have been given a surprise by Santa and am considering making the purchase sooner than expected. I have NO CLUE about computers and what I need in one. I know that my Photoshop works entirely too slow in the aforementioned desktop so any photogs out there have any recommendations? I am even considering switching to MAC ("shudder"). Please give me your 2 cents!

Since returning from Dallas where I attended the I Heart Faces workshop I have yet to enter a challenge! SHAME ON ME! I have been so busy trying to get Christmas orders placed that I have missed the deadline each time! So here is my entry for this week....

The theme is "Sweet Dreams" and of course a squishy newborn came to mind! Oh how peaceful they are. Don't you know they would kill us if they knew how we dressed them up so!

One of the reasons I got to attend the Awesome I Heart Faces workshop in Dallas was because I had a free place to stay! My good friend from high-school lives in a nearby suburb and it was a perfect opportunity to go visit. While I was there we had to get a quick photo shoot of her adorable baby Miss. K. I love this age because they don't really run around yet and they are usually happy to sit and smile at you! These were taken at the Arboretum which is like Heaven on Earth!

I have a suprise for mom with these pics that I will post after she receives it! Thanks for being so hospitable!

Mom's back!

I'm back from Texas! What a wonderful trip I had! Besides learning an immense amount of information about photography I got to meet tons of fabulously talented women who share lots in common! Babies and photography! I now have a crush on Pete Lacker and wish I could visit with him everyday! He was a FABULOUS instructor!

In the beginning I felt very guilty for getting to eat at nice restaurants by myself and splurge on things I enjoy, but I got used to it pretty quickly!

In addition to learning about photography from these women it also made me want to better myself in other areas of life. I copied an idea from one participant who had a To Do list on her blog of goals she would like to accomplish. 8 hrs in the car will allow you plenty of time to brainstorm!

Here is my list in progress to begin as soon as possible!

Publish a coffee table book with my cousin Allison
(I told you 8 hrs gives you plenty of time to come up with ideas!)

Convert meals to Whole Grain

Re-instate Date night with Husband

Read a new book a month

Run at least 3 times a week

Take a picture of non-people objects once a week

Learn a new photoshop tool once a month

Convert all bills to E-pay

Plan a road trip to a nearby town once a month

Take an antique shopping trip

Make one new recipe a month (preferably healthy)

Re-design website/blog

Start using Cupons and CVS/Rite-aid/Target promos cut grocery in half

Read devotional and apply it daily

So these are the ones I have at the moment...I'm sure I will add to it before New Years.

Lake Dixie Springs Mini- 5month old

Okay I am warning you...when you see the pictures below it is going to give you baby fever! Mr.D was such a pleasure and joy to photograph. He just smiled and smiled for me! He was such a strong 5month old holding himself up so well! After spending the past 2 days chasing toddlers photographing Mr. D was such a breeze!

And his grandmother Ms. S who arranged the photo shoot well all I can say is I knew 4 years ago when she gave me a beautiful Christmas ornament with my wedding gift that we would have a bond. I LOVE Christmas ornaments and I will always remember it! Our session ran a little longer than planned because Mr. D did need a bottle break but I was having such a good time it didn't matter to me.

This session reminded me why I love to photograph families and help them cherish fleeting moments! Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your memories!

A sneak peek for Ella's Mom

I was asked to photograph some children modeling clothing from Buttercup Children's Boutique for their Christmas Television commercial. Ella was one of the models and was in almost every outfit...you can see why below...absolutely beautiful and a natural in front of the camera.

Since my "job" was to photograph the clothing not the models this is not my usual style. Anywho I know Ella's mom is anxious to see a few peeks so here you are!

Changes for the new year

December the 4th will be my last day for photo shoots in time for Christmas. I will only have a limited availability during month of December.

This has been my first year in business in Mccomb. It has been fun but challenging nonetheless. I have been provided awesome opportunities to market my business but alas it takes time for people to learn about you especially if you are a newby to a small town.

I have also been reflecting (ha ha pun intended) on my business philosophy and what I want to achieve.

First, I am so thrilled that I have been given the opportunity to capture precious memories for families. It makes me beyond ecstatic to hear a mother say I brought tears to her eyes. I know how fleeting these precious years are.

Second, I want to price my portraits affordable so families such as myself can have the opportunity to receive wonderful memories. That being said it takes much more time and effort into a photo shoot than just taking the picture- you have editing, mailing, orders processed, etc etc. Currently I am probably working at below minimum wage!

Finally, when you turn a passion into work... well... it becomes work! And when you have to process orders for the public... well... it becomes retail. I want to enjoy my work and I think I can only attain that by eliminating the print ordering. I have always wanted to go to straight digital files but I have had many apprehensions. I know that I will be, at this moment, the ONLY photographer offering this service in my area so hopefully this can bring about some differentiation between myself and the others. And I will be able to keep my prices at an affordable rate. Consider me the "Lowe's" of photography if you will. I will supply the materials and you create the products!

I recently took some portraits for a dear friend of mine from High School during our 10 year High School reunion weekend. These were taken at a lake in Clinton and the weather was quite chilly- at least to us Mississippians.

This family is so beautiful on the inside and outside. They just exude pure joy and Christ-like love. Let me tell you I don't know how mom does it with a 3 year old, 15 month old, and baby sister on the way (yeah I know you can't even tell she is 20+ weeks preggo in these pics!).

I wished they lived closer so I could take some maternity shots and newborn pics of baby C. Maybe I will make a trip to Tupelo to meet the new addition!

Sweet Cousins

This nasty rainy gloomy weather has really put a damper on my fall mini-sessions so we had to reschedule these sweet girls photo shoot for a different day. And wouldn't you know just as they drove up with their mamas the rain started again...ugh...we waited it out and 15 minutes later we were able to get these precious shots.

These girls are cousins- not sisters- but I am sure like I am with my cousins their bond will be sisterly. I made the storyboard for Grandma so she could have both grandchildren together.

I heart Faces photo challenge

I have been following this wonderful website for a few months now but have never entered one of the challenges. Since I am attending their workshop (SOOOO EXCITED!) in Dallas in November I thought I should try out a challenge. It's the Most Wonderful Time...of the year! Well not yet but I am anticipating it!!!

I have thought long and hard as to how I want to do my Fall Mini Sessions this year.
Everyone likes different methods- some like to purchase a cd so they can print as many as they wish. Others prefer I order for them and they know that they are receiving top quality products. So here is what I have come up with 2 choices that should suit everyone! These are mini-sessions only 30 Minutes!

Option 1- Pay 1/2 price sitting (regularly $75) $37.50
get 4X6 proofs of about 10-15 shots
Purchase additional prints at regular cost from proof site.

Option 2- Pay 1/2 price sitting (regularly $75) $37.50
Purchase cd at half price (regularly $100) $50

For those who like to put pictures inside of cards than you can get the cd and print print print to your heart's content. For those who wish for me to design your Christmas card I will be offering several templates for you to choose (samples to come soon).

Here are the dates and locations ONLY 3 days with limited spots available! Examples from locations to follow.

If you wish to do more than one sesssion to have different options than you can but you have to pay session fee twice. Saturday morning I got the chance to photograph this adorable family! Baby girl is 3 months and an absolute doll. Almost made me get baby fever again....almost. She only stayed awake for a little bit so we ended up getting to snap some "typical" newborn shots as well. She really enjoyed snuggling in the cradle prop I brought ;) These pictures were taken at the grandmother's home so it just goes to show that beautiful memories can be made anywhere...even in your own backyard.

This fun family called me to take some shots of baby boy number 3 on the way. We headed over to Percy Quinn state park to take a few maternity pics. The sun was a killer but luckily mom called me because of a silhouette pic she saw hanging in the OBGYN office. We DEFINITELY had lots of opportunities to capture some of those! Senior sessions are seriously so fun to photograph! I love how each one is so unique and it shows through the images! It is Senior Portrait time and I have had the pleasure of meeting TWO unique guys and photographed them with their toys! That is what is so great about Senior Portraits they all are DIFFERENT!

Here is Mr. B sporting his threads and showcasing his pride and joy....um in case you can't see he is a Dale Jr. fan....:) It was nice to photograph a subject that actually sat still for a change...not that I don't love the kiddos! I had trouble picking some of my faves because they were all good!

Anyway make sure to tell Mr. B how handsome he looks if you see him around town!

Also as you will you see in my next ad in Bluffs and Bayou I am looking for Senior spokes models from area high schools. This is for Seniors of 2010!

Family on the Lake

This was a recent family photo session on Lake Dixie Springs. The mother had not updated their family portrait since baby A was born! The 2 toddlers were quite precocious and mom said she would be amazed if we got any good shots...she was AMAZED! Take a look at this beautiful family!

Here is a slideshow of my first round of Easter Sessions! The kids were so fun and the bunnies did great! I love photographing the older children because they have their own ideas of what looks good! Well I am geared up for my Easter portraits which will take place at the Bucky Moore bed and breakfast this month. I almost sold out! BUT I still have a few slots open if you still would like a spot! In addition to playing with the Rabbit (s) I will have a tea party set up and Easter eggs hidden for the kiddos to hunt. We are sure to capture some candid smiles!

My home studio is finally complete. While I am not a big fan of staged shots it may come in handy for maternity/senior session should the need arise.

Be on the look out for some COOL seniors I will be shooting this month also! I will be a busy bee! Please pass on the word to any seniors you know for '09 that it is NOT too late to get their pictures taken at an affordable cost!

Super exciting news that I can share (I think) is that some of my maternity portraits will be on display at the new Women's Clinic in Mccomb. They have just moved into a beautiful new building and I am ECSTATIC that I will be able to display my art!

I am often asked the question "where do you take photos?" As an on-location photographer I can come to your house or we can be-bop around town. The setting is not really as important as the moments we capture. I have arrangements with several venues in town that allow for a great ambiance. Lake Dixie Springs, Bucky Moore B&B, Percy Quinn, and Downtown just to name a few! My "outdoor" studio (ie: landscaping) is being done at this moment and then we can have some options at my homestead! So if you have an idea just contact me and we can roll with it!

For the month of April and May I am offering this special! As a mother who is sadden that she never gets to be in front of the camera with her child I am honoring MOMMIES! Just in time for Mother's Day! Bring Grandma too and we can capture some generation photos that will be treasured FOREVER! See below. You will also soon see my ad in Bluffs and Bayou Magazine!

I do not usually photograph weddings but in the spirit of Valentine's Day I relinquished and photographed these lovebirds at the Bucky Moore bed and breakfast in Summit on Saturday. It was a small affair but the love showed by these two was big. Here is a sneek peak....

This is going to be so fun and exciting! I LOVE Easter portraits and since children are my forte this will be moments to remember forever! Please reserve your space if you wish to have your Easter portraits taken at the Bucky Moore Bed and Breakfast in Summit, MS the week of March 21st -March 29th. Limited space available! No poses but real candid shotsthat capture your little one's wonderful personality! Unique. Fun. Relaxed.

$40 includes sitting fee and a cd with all of your edited images for you to print with copyright release! It seems most people prefer this type of option so for the *Special* mini-sessions this is how I will distribute!

Props will be provide including live bunny rabbits! Call soon!

Sweet Siblings....

This is a pair of sweet siblings that I photographed as a valentine's present for their daddy from mommy. Ages 2 1/2 and 13 months will really keep you on your toes! I don't know how mommy does it! Anyway this is the gist of a relaxed and fun session at your home capturing the true essence that defines your toddler. Their blue eyes are to die for...... :)

I LOVE doing maternity shoots and this was a VERY exciting shoot for me to do because not only are they beautiful parents-to-be but the mommy is one of my best friends from high school! Mikel and Lauren are two of the most loyal and godly people I have ever known! She has always been an inspiration to me and for them to allow me to share in this very important part of their life was truly special! We can't wait to meet Miss Kaydence Hope!

I couldn't share these pics before as they were a suprise Christmas gift but take a look at these fine siblings! We did these at a lakehouse at Lake Dixie Springs. I had the pleasure of photographing this beauty for her grandmother this week! We were supposed to do some outdoor shots but once again the rain ruined that for us. So we headed indoors...I was a little nervous as indoor photography added with Christmas lights is an entirely different ballgame to deal with but I was VERY pleased with the result!
